Atefe Rahmati

Project Assistant

Atefe’s background is in hematology, fueled by a Master’s degree in Experimental Hematology and Blood Banking. Atefe’s Master’s thesis research investigated the utility of selective immunophenotyping with CD160 and CD200 expression analysis to address the diagnostic dilemma of B-cell malignancies. This research ignited a passion for cancer biology, which continues to guide her scientific pursuits.

When not elbow-deep in research, you’ll likely find Atefe pounding the pavement on a run, striking a pose in yoga class, or indulging in some feline cuddles with her furry companions.
