Beatriz holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in molecular biomedicine. She also obtained a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, having developed her thesis at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (CNC-UC), focusing on the development of novel antibody-based bioimaging probes to track the progression of Machado-Joseph disease.
Due to her interest in immunology and oncology, she now intends to develop her work in cellular reprogramming in order to help discover new therapeutic strategies.

During her free time, she likes to travel, spend time with friends, watch series and movies and listen to podcasts.
