Biography

Dr. Chaofan Fan’s primary research focus is on the field of onco-immunology, with a particular interest in the development of novel immunotherapies for solid tumours. He successfully completed his undergraduate medical degree at Wenzhou Medical University (2011-2016). Thereafter, he obtained a Master of Medicine degree from the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine (2016-2019), where his research focused on the role of B cells in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In 2025, he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from Heidelberg University (2020-2025). The subject’s doctoral project focused on the development of novel immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of MASH-related hepatocellular carcinoma.
