Biography

Daniel pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Coimbra, the same institution where he would obtain a master’s degree in Biochemistry. His master’s thesis focused on developing a nanosystem capable of targeted delivery of drug and pDNA to hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Due to his growing interest in the field of novel therapeutic strategies, Daniel is excited to work with reprogramming-based therapeutic approaches.

In his free time, Daniel likes going to the gym, spending time outside, doing activities with his friends and watching TV shows.
