Evaluating Dendritic Cell Reprogramming in Patient-derived Cancer Organoids

Biography

Malavika did her Bachelor’s in Biotechnology in India during which she worked on gestational diabetes. Following her interest she developed in cancer biology, she later worked at a Cancer Institute in India as a research trainee, focused on evaluating chemopreventive efficacy of a compound in oral cancer. Currently, Malavika is pursuing her Master’s degree at Lund University and her project will be based on evaluating dendritic cell reprogramming in patient-derived cancer organoids.

In her free time, Malavika tries to engage herself in fun activities and staying outdoors be it for a walk, a game or just chilling with friends. She likes dancing, reading books and painting and makes sure to take time out time for these.
