Reprogramming of Tumor Cells Into Dendritic Cells for Cancer Immunotheraphy

After completion of her master’s in Biotechnology, Radha pursued her PhD in the field of Cancer Biology and Therapy at National Centre for Cell Science, Pune, India. In her doctoral work, she deciphered the cross talk between cancer cells and tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) in regulation of cancer stem cells and breast cancer progression. She continues to follow her passion in cancer therapeutics at Pereira lab by utilizing the cancer cell reprogramming to generate induced dendritic cells for cancer immunotherapy.

Beyond her lab life, Radha is a certified yoga instructor and regularly practices yoga. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, take long walks, and love to travel.
