Biography

Sandra has a PhD in experimental immunology and is interested in immunotherapy of cancer. She has experience in cell culture of patient-derived tumor cell lines and T-cell stimulation. Following a precision oncology approach, she is trained in peptide stimulation using tumor-specific peptides. By joining the Pereira lab, Sandra aims to broaden her laboratory skills and plans to investigate the reprogramming of colorectal cancer cells.

In her free time, Sandra enjoys dancing with her partner, reading books, baking sweet treats, and exploring new places.
