Uncovering regulators of degrees of cellular plasticity by direct reprogramming

Biography

Ever since the concept of “induced pluripotent stem cells” fascinatingly captivated Quynh, such insights into their promising therapeutic implications settled in her lifelong motivation to comprehend regenerative medicine and the science behind cell reprogramming. This led Quynh to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, where Quynh devotedly delved into developmental biology and epigenetic dynamics inspired by engaging lectures and hands-on experience in the Cell Reprogramming Laboratory at International University. Quynh’s thesis at the Stem Cell Institute in Vietnam further developed her deep-rooted passion for stem cell research and sharpened her laboratory skills. Quynh’s unwavering passion for cell reprogramming led her to the Master’s program in Biomedicine and innovative research at Pereira Laboratory at Lund University. Now Quynh is excited to embark on my Master’s thesis to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms that govern degrees of cellular plasticity through direct reprogramming.
