Biography

Stefanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bio- and Environmental Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. After her bachelor’s internship at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria), which focused on the generation and functional characterization of endocytosis-deficient DCs, she decided to pursue her passion in the medical field. She enrolled in the master’s program “Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” in Krems, Austria. During her internship at the Pereira Lab, she is able to combine her fascination about DCs with cellular reprogramming.

In her free time, Stefanie loves baking, exploring new places and meeting friends for brunch. She also enjoys being creative while doing calligraphy and designing cards for special occasions.
