CRI Computational Postdoctoral Fellow

Understanding Immune Cell Diversity

Biography

Ilia is a bioinformatician excited about integrating omics approaches to understand molecular mechanism beyond the cell fate. He studied bioinformatics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (2008-2013). His diploma project focused on understanding structural features of RNA using NGS data. Already during his diploma studies Ilia became interested in integration of omics data for deciphering complex biological processes. Ilia continued to investigate biological data during his PhD studies at Skoltech (2014-2018), with the main focus on human brain evolution.

In his free time, Ilia enjoys outdoors activities, such as, running, skiing and hiking. In 2019, Ilia reached the highest European summit, Mt. Elbrus.
